Employee Spotlight: Lisa Power

As part of our Employee Spotlight series, we talked to Global Account Director Lisa Power about the best aspects of working on a global team and what attracted her to work at Acceleration Partners!

Can you tell us more about your role at Acceleration Partners as Global Account Director?

I’m responsible for overseeing several multi-region accounts for Acceleration Partners, and my priority is to make sure that my teams are empowered and supported to deliver successful affiliate programs for our clients.

What are some of the best things about working on a global team?

I believe that Acceleration Partners is truly one of the most diverse workplaces I’ve ever been part of! I get so much from working with people from all over the globe and I love the fresh perspectives everyone brings to our teams. It’s fantastic to work with people with different life experiences and in different locations, yet who have so much in common.

What excites you when you think about the future of affiliate marketing?

I think that the last two years have forced many brands to reconsider their marketing strategy in favor of affiliate. I love that the world is recognizing the power of partnerships and realizing that affiliate marketing is not just about coupons, but a valuable, efficient, sustainable way of marketing.

I believe our industry’s ability to innovate and identify trends as well as our effective cost models, mean affiliate marketing is poised for significant growth in 2022 and beyond.

What attracted you to work for Acceleration Partners?

Acceleration Partners has a great online presence and a strong reputation, particularly with regards to the culture and the importance placed on great client relationships.

I was skeptical about working from home, but my experiences have completely changed my view on remote work. Acceleration Partners’ impressive infrastructure and support meant that I had the smoothest onboarding experience of my working life and felt settled and supported from day one.

Do you have a daily routine for success?

I go out for a morning walk every day and put the world to rights via the phone with my good friend Meredith – great chats and some Vitamin D make for a great start to my mornings! I block out time for the gym, and for deep work, to make sure that I’m focusing on the right things. I also want to make sure I know what my top priorities are for the following day before I switch off.

What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

I love house music and will travel anywhere for a good festival! I’m also an aspiring Strongwoman and about to compete in my second event in March.

Finally, if you could have a superpower what would it be?

It has to be the ability to fly, so I could head South for the winter!
